Located on the northern perimeter of India’s sacred Aravali mountain range, HMWhite’s commercial landscape campus design is informed by the region’s forest ecology - both a culturally revered and threatened landscape. Recognizing the visceral connection that humanity has with nature, principles of biophilia are infused throughout the commercial center’s all-encompassing and verdant landscape design. Both at the ground level and within the multiple rooftop gardens, this office community gets to reconnect with its regional landscape on a daily basis. Set within a dense network of native planting, one registers a familiar connection with nature, triggering secure physiological and psychological responses. In embracing the Aravali region’s physical and cultural character, HMWhite’s campus design establishes an irrefutable sense of place that invariably strengthens its value and address recognition.
